Family Tourist and General Visitor
Are you looking to sponsor a family member or perhaps a friend on a general visitor’s visit? We can advise you in your entry clearance application and do all the work until a decision is made by the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) on your application.
You can get a UK public document legalised by getting the UK Foreign and commonwealth Office to confirm a UK Solicitor’s signature, seal or stamp on the document is genuine.
This is usually done if an authority abroad has asked you to provide a document that must be legalised.
We can help you get any document legalised for a fixed fee, contact our offices to discuss your requirements.

For a fixed fee our work will include:
- Discussing your circumstances in detail and confirming whether this is the most appropriate application for you to make and what other options may be available to you;
- Giving you advice about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the criteria.
- Advising you on the relevant documents to be submitted in support of your application;
- Considering the supporting evidence you have provided and discussing the same with you;
- Where necessary, helping you obtain further evidence (such as document translations, DNA tests and bank statements), including taking statements of any witnesses;
- Advising you on the weaknesses and strengths of your application;
- Preparing a detailed cover letter and the relevant application form(s)
- Arrange an appointment at the VAC in your home country to enrol your biometrics and to submit your passport. Thereafter we shall also arrange to submit your completed application to the relevant UKVI department on your behalf.
- We shall act as your legal representatives in relation to this application during the decision making process.
In the event that you or your family member has been refused a family visitor’s visa we can advise on the prospect’s of successfully appealing the decision on human rights grounds. This is a limited grounds on which an appeal can still be filed at the first-tier Tribunal to challenge the refusal as a breach of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
