Fiancé Visa Relationship Evidence Guide

This is where people either do too little, or way too much.

For a fiancé(e) visa, the Home Office wants to see your relationship is real, ongoing, and not just for immigration.

You don’t need to upload 600 screenshots. Honestly, that can backfire. They want clear, sensible evidence.

Good relationship evidence can include:

  • Photos together over time (not just one day)
  • Flight tickets or travel bookings
  • Hotel bookings from visits
  • Chat logs (a few pages showing normal communication)
  • Call history (again, not thousands)
  • Wedding planning evidence (emails with venues, bookings, ring receipts, etc.)

If you’ve met each other’s families, that helps too. Even a few photos with family can make the relationship look real.

We often advise clients in Bolton, Manchester and Burnley to focus on quality, not quantity. The same advice applies across England, including Liverpool, Cheshire and Yorkshire.

At Parkview Solicitors, we help you choose the right evidence so the Home Office gets a clear story not a messy pile of random files.
