Fiancé Visa Interview Preparation Tips
Not every fiancé(e) visa case involves an interview. But if you are called for one, you should prepare properly.
The interview is usually about your relationship and wedding plans.
You may be asked:
- How and when you met
- How often you speak
- When you decided to marry
- Details about each other’s families
- Where you plan to live in the UK
- Wedding plans
The most important advice? Be honest and natural.
People sometimes try to memorise answers. That can make things worse. If answers sound rehearsed or inconsistent, the Home Office may become suspicious.
It’s normal to forget small dates. It’s not normal to give completely different stories.
