Common Trinity English Exam Mistakes in Immigration Applications

This happens more than people think someone passes the English test, feels relieved, and then the visa still gets delayed or refused.

Why? Because the test part was done wrong.

Here are common mistakes we see:

1) Taking the wrong level

For example, booking B1 when the visa only needs A1, or worse, booking A1 when you actually need B1 for settlement.

2) Taking the test at the wrong centre

Not all centres are accepted by the Home Office. It must be an approved Trinity test centre.

3) Uploading the wrong document

Some people upload a booking confirmation instead of the certificate. The Home Office will not accept that.

4) Name details don’t match

If your passport says “Mohammed” but your certificate says “Muhammad”, it can cause problems. It sounds small, but it matters.

5) Leaving it too late

In Bolton, Manchester and Burnley we often see people rushing because their visa expiry is close.

That’s when mistakes happen.

At Parkview Solicitors, we check the English requirement early, so you don’t waste money or risk your application.
